Baked French Beans Fries
Serves 4

Beef and Butternut Squash Stew


1 lb of Los Angeles Salad Company French Green Beans
1/2 cup of egg whites
3/4 cup of panko bread crumbs
2 tbsp Parmesan cheese
1 tsp lemon pepper (a salt-free spice blend)
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp garlic powder

1. Preheat oven at 450°F.
2. Set up a breading station: put 1/2 cup of egg whites in one bowl, and in a second bowl, the breading mixture (3/4 cup panko bread crumbs, 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon lemon pepper (a salt-free spice blend), 1/2 teaspoon cumin, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
3. With the left hand, dunk about 3 to 4 beans at the time in the egg whites. With the right hand, dunk them in the breading and pat it on.
4. Line them up on a baking sheet.

5. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes, until the bread crumbs were golden brown. They’re crispy and crunchy and fantastic with a little spicy mustard for dipping. They definitely don’t taste guilt-free, but they are!
